...and now the moment I've all been waiting for.
JR is good. Damn good. And this book goes a long way towards showing it. Think it'll really hinge on what happens in the next issue, but this one was damn, damn, DAMN good. Creepy in all the right ways, and going all in on making Getaway a truly despicable baddie. I think the major irony of the story will be that folks on the LL were, by and large, willing to forgive what MEGATRON had done, but not what Getaway did.

The last two issues have been cracking.
Much more like the first season in terms of quality. Begs the question wtf was going on for the first 9 issues of LL...
Some of the political satire felt unsubtle - probably crammed in relatively late in the day - mildly amusing anyway
Makes some earlier issues much more relevant also - which addresses a common complaint I've seen on other forums and voiced myself, that being too many irrelevant / filler stories and too little in payoff.
The danger (Re: lost readership) / annoyance is that it's taken months to get here.
But anyway, 10 and 11 have been a big return to form imo.

Agreed, the last two issues have been JR at this best, and it's about time.
For a while there, I could totally see myself being part of Getaways crew. I mean, he really had a point. I was hoping that deep inside the recesses of his being, there was a greater sense of justice that was driving his twisted decisions, and for a minute there, it actually seemed like he was going to accomplish in a very short period of time what Rodimus has been unable to do for what seems like eons. But after getting outed, he basically went full Decepticon. Too bad.
By the looks of it, the Protectobots manage a way out of their memory loop prison the next issue, and as far as I can tell, we will get our first look at a combiner under Roberts. Should be interesting.
I almost jumped ship on this, but now I'm still on board.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Great issue. So glad to be away from Necroworld.
