This is going to be fantastic.

Love Archer
Re: Regeneration One #99 delayed a week
So has there been any sort of announcement, or even hint, that Regenerations will continue? I haven't heard or seen anything in Previews to indicate a new series.
Maybe it really does end?

Unless it's Dreamwave. Then it ends. End away, Dreamwave.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

That was a blast, it really was. I think the G2 Cybertronians had their plot armor dinged a bit, but I'm willing to overlook that given how much fun it was.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:That was ******* epic!
And that art! Holy crap awesome.
Shockwave holding Starscream at the end was perfect.
I'm really starting to think that Furman is heading up to the creation of the IDW universe. Primus had Rodimus get a Matrix for a reason, and presumably that would be so that Primus, or whatever that Dark Primus is, could create a universe totally in his control, a sort of dark universe...hmm.
As I write that out I think that the Dead Universe from IDW-land may be the after effect of whatever it is that is going to happen in the Regen Universe.
Who knows?
Edit -
Another theory.
The issue where Hot Rod got the Matrix, Issue Zero, it showed the multiverse. If all the Primus' of the various universes are linked via the Matrix, then the Dark Primus of Regen could infect every universe simultaneously via Rodimus' Matrix.
Spike is needed because the Headmaster process causes an instant link, a quantum entanglement most likely, between the two bonded partners.
So the Matrix is the door, and Spike is the key to instantly infecting every Primus ever.

Re: Regeneration One #99 delayed a week
Hm. I'm intrigued by the Zero Space appearance of Buster, who once held the power of the Matrix in his mind. Something tells me that's not unconnected, especially since Starscream's involvement with the Underbase seems to have been more influential (on him) than was apparent at the time.
Man, how awesome is Shockwave this issue? Looking forward to seeing how his story ends.

Furman put on a clinic on how to write Shockwave properly. I can't help but feel that the timing is exquisite.Metal Vendetta wrote:

This guy called Va'al wrote this on seibertron:
"Was it bad? No. Was it enjoyable? Yes. Did it do a lot of things right? Absolutely. Did it feel rushed? Definitely. This has been a fear for a while, escalating the action and plotlines towards the end of the run, with a conclusive deadline set really not that far away at all. A shame, because these final arcs really came up again.
"As I said though, it's a thoroughly enjoyable issue, with a lot of things done well, excellent artwork, colours and covers galore, including some amazing Shockwave, Galvatron and Starscream (ish) moments. Are we ready for next month's final-definite-forrealsies conclusion? "
Pretty much nailed it for me.
That gene key malarkey... I feel Regen really could have done with losing it and giving more issues to the Con invasion and them G2 *****.
The quick wrap up of both, and one coming so soon after the other... bit too convoluted for me. Lessens them as a credible threat.
Could have lost the first arc as well, and just had the Prime Megs fight as a massive two issue BOOM start off.
I'm not hating on you btw Mr F. We all know you read these!

Totally agree. It feels like an editorial thing to make the series fit for trades.snarl wrote: That gene key malarkey... I feel Regen really could have done with losing it and giving more issues to the Con invasion and them G2 *****.
!
Great issue though. Shockwave synchronously attacking with the Ark was superb.

Agree with Ben and Rob.
And Compy on the shielding.
Jhaixus certainly dissolved as a threat pretty quickly (or did he?).
Loved the role of the Wreckers thought - bad@ss.
And Shockwave + Ark!
Be sorry to see this series go but equally think the impend of the end has given it momentum that i think it would otherwise lack.

This issue? Awesome sauce!
In a weird way, I'm actually not upset about the whole Scorponok gene key malarkey. Because when I look back at the original twenty issues there was fluff in there too. So somehow the malarkey kind of 'took me back' to those 80's type stories that we just don't find in our TF comics Granted it did take some issues away from more intriguing subplots. But overall I don't think I would change a thing with this series. Except add a little more Budiansky Blaster to the fold.
The issue itself was just great though. I think the end of the last issue with the 'release' of Shockwave from the Ark might have been one of my top three Shockwave moments in TF lore. And this issue carried on the badassery of Shockers. Barber take note. If you're going to write Shockwave this is how you do it.
Still have a question though. Where's Thunderwing?

Hot Rod blew his remnants up in I think #87? They were saving those remnants in hopes of having some of the Matrix energy left.Yaya wrote:Where's Thunderwing?
This was great. Sad, though, that I didn't see an appearance by the Liege Maximo in ReGen--I think he will remain a G2/Alignment creation.
