I grew up on Transfans.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

That's the truth! It's been almost twelve years since I registered on this board, and I'm ******* happy that I did. You guys (Karl, Brend, Compy, Besty, Snarlos, Impy, etc.) have taught me a lot about life.
I started living on my own when I was 16 years old, and when I was 17 I registered on this board, and to be honest I learned a lot about life through you guys. I learned to be tolerant (open minded!) of other people. I learned how to be...

Yeah, [composite word including 'f*ck'] it. This is a drunk post, but you guys are the ****. I'll never forget about Black Hawk Down, and how you guys schooled me how to analyze that movie. It'll stay with me forever.

Thanks for being so awesome. It's nice to know that Transfans always has your back no matter what.

Cheers
Can't believe I'm still here.

Nothing wrong with a drunk post!

For lack of a better response and because sometimes words cant fully convey what we want to say, Ill just say Thank You and believe you me I feel the same way too. In a way I became a lawyer cause I learned to have confidence and use my brain because of this board.

Everyone, including you, had a part in shaping how we turn out.

Exhilarating that people you may never have met in person can influence you so immensely.

How have you been Ob?

"I grew up on TransFans and all I got were these lousy ethics!" :D

I am proud to know you, and I do not possess sufficient vocabulary to reply to your Facebook message. It is one of the most kind things I have ever had said to me, and I genuinely have no idea how to say thank you <3

Transfans really opened my eyes to what "ethics" meant when my code of morality was constrained by furious cognitive dissonance over religion. Thank you, nerds.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.
