Local Fred Meyer's (NW equivalent of KMart) had Optimus, Jazz and Shockwave.
Jazz was theoretically cool, but every one there looked to have suffered a botched paint job. Guess they rushed the sweatshop.
But even my consumer guilt could not keep me from buying Shockwave. Amazing detail. Awesome paint job, awesome clear plastic chestplate. Transformation tend to pop ball joints, and alt-mode is weird looking, even for Shockwave. But robot mode is a real treat for the desk.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Local stores here have FINALLY gotten in the first FoC toys. Optimus, Jazz, Brawl, Onslaught, and Vortex are the only ones every store has had.
Annoying me as Kapow sold out of Shockwave when I was out of money, and since then the only version I can find anywhere online is the disappointing arms micron version.

Yeah, I'm not quite tempted by another Grimlock. I got my Masterpiece, but nothing will ever top Animated Grimlock and his bulldozer mouth. He sits on my desk to this day, giving a ride to Marvel Universe Deadpool.

Now that'd be a team up I'd pay to read.
