"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

The girlfriend has given me permission to buy it but I haven't decided. It is beautiful... but will the quality be there? I was very unimpressed (quality-wise) with their first release, but I've been told over and over again that subsequent rereleases were fine.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

So I went ahead a got this. Actually much larger than I thought it would be, and it's one hell of a toy.

But there's a big problem with this. As gorgeous as this is, it's Transformation has to be the most complex of any toy I've owned and there are steps in the process that if not done right, could very easily break the toy. For example, there's one step where the upper half of Shockers body is separated from the lower half, and the two are only held together by a very cheap looking small metal pin in a plastic casing. If you even hold the damn thing wrong, it will snap in two, as both halves are way too heavy for that small pin-in-plastic attachment.

I transformed him once and felt like I was Indiana Jones sweatingly switching that bag of sand for the idol.

Looks wise, it's fantastic and it's a very clever translation. Sturdiness-wise, it may the worst TF I've come across. Not worth the $160 and certainly not a toy I could have played with as a kid with out breaking it the first day.

Me too- I'm scared to transform the damn thing. But he's beautiful.
