I'm going with G2 Tank. I mean, seriously. A tiny gun? Give me something that can actually take out a semi truck.

The green and purple camo rule out the tank for me. Also "boom stick" and "Megatron Rules!"

Let's see; wasn't he supposed to be the Dreadwing Stealth Bomber (eventually) in G2? He was also a crummy little Cyber jet in Machine Wars if you care about such things.

I dunno. Gun, I guess. The tank really does make more sense when you get down to it. Being a jet of any kind makes his reliance on Starscream even more stupid than it already is.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

I too am going with the gun. Let's not forget, the only reason he was a tiny gun was because everyone had crash landed on Earth and the Ark is idiotic. If not, perhaps he would have ended up as a big ass super space gun a la Shockers. Or, if we're going by the cartoon, a reasonably-sized-for-Starscream's-hand gun.

Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the days in which realistic looking toy guns were fanatically sold to children. I mean, Megatron was a gun people! That was awesome.

I think I would have a bit harder time deciding if it was up against Armada Tank Megs or Energon (or Cybertron) Jet Megs. For me, G2 Megs sucks as a toy (although he was a bad ass character) and I can't look at IDW Megs without thinking about Bayformers infecting my childhood.

All time worst? RiD, easy.

what about Massive Robo Dragon Megs?

Armada Megs alt mode was pretty badass. Not sure about his big claw head.

War For Cybetron Megs is a pretty nice rendering. Yeah, i'll go for that one i think.

What, you don't like a 'bot that can turn into a giant hand? :)

What was Cybertron Megs- a jet car or something, right? I bought the Galaxy Force version for some reason... and I remember being upset that I didn't hold out for the G1 style redeco later on.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.
