Was he bought in Ikea's January Sale, assembled by Geoff the Autobot (turns into a toaster, quite a minor character) and was originally intended as a decorative wall hanging? The story will reveal the secret origin of the Citybot
Through a series of personal tragedies (his pet gerbil was killed in a freak yachting accident) he vows to become the greatest Citybot in history, culminating in the climax where he wins the Round Cybertron Citybot Being a City Bee Contest?

But, but... isn't that Megatron's backstory (continuity-inspecific) and therefore crucial to all Transformers mythos?M3Gr1ml0ck wrote:XD
Speaking for myself, I'm a bit tired of mechs who are victims of tragedies and become killing machines, crazed soldiers and whatever ^^
It's not? Oh. Carry on, then!

Well, um, I don't recall any tragedies before that MOrigin miniseries, which we are not including in our new continuity ^^'
The concepts we are using are those of G1 Marvel #1 and The War Within.
Actually, we are in continuity with The War Within, where Megatron was depicted as a clever, calculating mech who spent his life studying the secrets of Cybertron.
More hints about his origin, as we have imagined it, here, in the Shockwave/Soundwave chapter:
