I wish I were bored enough to think £10 for a cramped cinema seat, overpriced food and an utter waste of two hours was a worthwhile proposition.

Cinema food isn't compulsory.
I'm quite lucky in that I pay £13 a month for unlimited filmage at my local cinema. The only bugbear being that I have to fork up the extra £1.50 if it's 3D... which isn't so bad apart from when the film is ONLY showing in 3D. I'm looking at you, Green Hornet, Tron Legacy and the last Jackass!

£13 Per month for all you can watch is a good deal. I'd be a lot more forgiving of films at that price.
