Bought a 3D TV!!!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I watched Alice in Wonderland 3D. It is unreal. It's just too bad you can't fully utilize the 3D feature unless you get a movie specifically made for 3D. It's pretty close to watching a movie in IMAX. I haven't tried to watch a normal bluray with the 3D feature yet. I saw Avatar in IMAX and it was amazing, I haven't watched my regular Avatar bluray yet on my 3D tv though. The only thing that sucks is they're like 5 movies and 4 video games made for 3D.
