Without condoning, or condemning, I understand.

Still too Bay. Won't last any longer than the G2 design did.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Nothing against other alt modes (G2 tank for example). I just prefer designs which don't look shapeless/random alien stuffBest First wrote:is the proportion a bit off on the right leg?
i don't mind it - lets face it at the end of the day the gun mode, while cool for a toy, is pretty stupid.
like the re-imagining of the fusion cannon especially.
Unreasonable given that they are aliens but what can you do
Really not taken by it - it's both strangely distant yet overly familiar. Like it doesn't know whether it wants to be a movie-verse TF or a G1 one.
Really tiring of IDWs constant tinkering with the formula. Fair enough if they're changes for the best, but very little has had a positive impact on the comics overall direction.
The logical choice for a current TF writer is clearly Roche - has fulfilled his 'apprenticeship' on smaller titles and one shots, plus has a thorough understanding of the mythlogy.
But no. We'll stick with Costa, who's clearly spreading himself too thinly over this and GI Joe - the ongoing story is bordering on the farcical at the moment. Bereft of original ideas.
Oh well. At the least the toys are good!

It's OK. Not sure a stealth bomber really fits Megs' personality though.
What irks me is how it seems like a rather shallow move to try to spice up the fiction again. We're locked in a perpetual state of anticipation - "You won't believe what happens next!" Then, when 'next' arrives, it's fairly boring, but there's a new 'next'.
Note, for example, how the next arc is promised to be the 'darkest' chapter since AHM. AHM itself only ended a year ago, but wasn't the first arc of the ongoing supposed to be the darkest hour as well?

As has been pointed out elsewhere, this would actually make a good Shockwave body. Shockwave as a stealth bomber makes more sense as well.
