Won;

- Mindwipe (completing my collection of evil blocks of luminous plastic with men for heads)
- Boxed Reissue Dirge
and... Drift

But...
- Missed out on Thunderwing (avec Skyhammer) because ebay had a minor brain fart and didn't accept my bid. Thunderwing, who appears on ebay... about never.
- Missed our on stratxus as i was on the tube, but he will come up a billion times, so less bothered, altho it would be nice if he arrived in time to kill Drift.

Gah. I had to go to see my doctor at short notice, so missed out on that straxus too.

If you like Headmasters, you might want to check out these

Also, the Drift figure is amazing. I can't wait for the Blurr repaint though.

Yeah i have seen those - i am trying to concentrate my spend on western G1 at the mo.

Altho that is not working very well when rasclarts like you send me tempting pictures of enhanced Bruticus type things.

Dirge just arrived (not bad given i paid for him on sat pm) which means i now have all the Seekers, which i am pretty happy about.

Altho Thrust is a bit knackered as he was one of my first ever TFs.

Does anyone else thinl the coneheads look a bit like members of the KKK if you put their hats up?

Drift just arrived as well.

The toy is, frankly, fantastic. The moral of the story here is clearly that Guido should be allowed to design more toys.

Ironically i think if the toy had come out first and then showed up in comics later on the reception would have been a lot less hostile.

I bought Drift at work. And Thrust. Generations / Universe versions, or whatever we're calling them at the mo.

And I just... went on BBTS...

And racked up another 200 bucks worth of purchases...

I've gawn fackin mental...

I'm wondering now if the bank are going to call me, along the lines of "Sir, the LEGO criminal... he's BACK!"

On a small side note, when you buy in bulk, the quickest and safest form of shipping (UPS Air Service) goes from being the most expensive to about 5 bucks cheaper than it's nearest competitor.

Food for thought that...

Basically bought all the wave 3 and 4 Universe / Generations + WFC toys on the site - Blur, Red Alert, Dirge, Prime, MEgs, Bumblebee, Soundwave etc

Not sure I like the look of all of em, mite stick some on ebay. Never done that before, should be amusing.

Need Bludgeon, but I'm not forking out the coin for him as listed on the US sites - he MUST be available over here?

That's actually sound, much more reasonable.

I'd heard about Kapow but then just forgot to check them out.

I've bought a few things from them, they are a really nice bunch of people, good prices and good service.

The only criticism I would have of them is that its not always clear when you should expect stock.

the guys at A1 Comics sent me Drift and WFC Prime instead of Drift and Thrust, which has pissed me right off this morning.

So, got to send Prime back which is inconvenient. Bloody buggery.

Drift is very smart though.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Bruticus Maximus and the Fanproject add on's arrived last night - trying to quietly open the box while i was on a conference call was interesting.

Both the Fanproject toys are absolutely lovely - especially the head sculpts...

but the combined mode...

oh the combined mode...
