Well, this is frightening

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

The part of me that loves history is pissed. The part of me that is concerned with my children's future is terrified.

But most of me is glad I live within twenty miles of the Canadian border:

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Price of freedom etc.

This story fits my generally pessimistic mood today. I suddenly can't seem to focus on anything apart from how absolute bastards seem to be doing pretty well for themselves these days.

When the likes of Glenn Beck find themselves with this kind of following, when citizens call to change the Constitution to stymie illegal immigration, when torture is held legitimate, it really is time to look at Canada or England more closely.

I only watch BBC now when I want news less tainted with political agendas.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
