Movie/magazine awesomeness

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Movie/magazine awesomeness

Post by Metal Vendetta » Thu Aug 12, 2010 8:04 pm

Having a great day - I just bought a copy of my last movie Houseparty of the Dead V affixed to the cover of Gorezone magazine (obscuring Charisma Carpenter's breasts, no less) and I'm watching it on the telly. Look! There's Brend and his watermelon! Haha, I'm also drunk. But yeah, it's the dog's bollocks. They sell it here: http://www.gorezone.co.uk/shop/index.ph ... ductId=132 /shameless pimping

And...for those of you who live in Mordor (or within travelling distance) get yourselves down to the shooting of Houseparty of the Dead 6 (though I still think it should be Zero) at 11am Saturday 21st August, easy walking distance from Mile End tube. The whole event will be fly-on-the-walled by a documentary crew from Sky 1, so you could be seeing your phizzog on the gogglebox come February. For full details, mail brains@housepartyofthedead.com or facebook http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=137375616296008 /further shameless pimping

Bring fruit.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I'm not sure the melon made the final cut. I barely did.

But yes. You can buy the fulm for a mere £7, complete with free magazine featuring Charisma Carpenter's spectacular breasts (and the rest of her). They take Paypal and EVERYTHING.

Yeah, me drunk too. I'll be at HP6 because I'm awesome. Wooha.

... she so wasn't cast for her acting skillz...

Really? I couldn't see it on the online version (trust me, I looked!)... maybe the power of DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC will enable me to spot it. :)

Lovely, fellas. Boobs and all.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

+++spam spam spam+++

So our movie-producer friend has intimated that we need to up our social networking game - if we can get some impressive-looking figures on facebook, it gives him a better bargaining position when he approaches studios for money (the name Un*versal and the sum of h*lf a million pounds was bandied about) so basically this is a plea for support - if you're on the book of faces please can you go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Housepart ... 8642864786 and click "Like"

It'll only take a second, and every like we get moves us closer to being real proper actual film-makers. Thanks for your time.

Congrats guys! I missed this post first time round. Is the mag still available to buy? Can I get the DVD any other way?

Talking of zombies, watched Night of the Living Dead today. Love it.

There might be a few copies still knocking around in the shops but it seems to have a fairly limited distribution - I didn't see it in any WH Smiths for example. The link above still works though.

Original or remake?
