All this going on about what a genius Costa is on GI Joe Cobra...
It was co-written by Christos Gage! The guy who wrote Avengers: Initiative and The Authority! I read all his Initiative issues and they were fantastic. I would love to read a Gage-penned TF book. This explains a lot about why Costa alone doesn't measure up to Cobra.

I do like a lot of Costa's stuff, but it seems to me that in this case, Gage may have pulled all the various threads that Costa dangles and dangles and dangles together.
