He was one of my favorite authors, all types of fiction combined. Wish I could have met him while he was still alive and told him he created such great stories... He really did create my favorite female character of all time, Modesty Blaise.
Still, he had a long life, longer than most. I hope he did everything he ever set out to do artistically.
