I've just finished reading it. And it was awesome. So awesome!
What about the movie? Did you guys like it? I've yet to see it.

Says you. Even Yaya thinks it's crap, and that's saying something.Best First wrote:The movie wasn't crap - it was always going to be a challenge - i thought the ending actually made a lot of sense the way they changed it - it's a flawed creation, but worth watchmening

It says that Watchmen obviously wasn't released in 3D, is what it says.Hot Shot wrote:Says you. I'll probably buy the Directors Cut (with the Black Freighter inserts) if they get round to releasing it.
I guess Alan Moore has a point - he says his comics aren't made to work as films.
I always felt the Watchmen was overrated, but the movie was quite nice, actually. Excellent noir feel to the way it was filmed. Very nice camera work and angles, excellent use of lighting.
Still wasn't in The Crow or Dark City league though. Now there are two visually stunning flicks.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
