If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

A guy in a coma who had worms in his mind eating his memories.

Sounds like the sort of thing they'd feature on The Outer Limits. As opposed to, say, The Twilight Zone.
Ever considered submitting something like that to, say
Escape Pod?
Then again, the worms eating memories bit also sounds like a similar premise to part of an episode of Captain Star.

Nicely done and congrats, sir. Do you plan something luxurious or practical with your bevy of winnings?

I actually am going to submit it to Escape Pod as soon as it appears. I love Escape Pod.
I plan to... put it in savings so I can pay the rent. I suck.

Congrat's, mate.
...
I just realized that I don't actually know Bumblemus...
Anyways, so your story might become a pod-cast radio-drama if it gets accepted? Pretty cool.
Someone should put together something similar for simpler stuff, like fan-fiction of 'low' pop-culture stuffs. A full hour of John Carter or Conan or even a story or two about TF.
