Looks like it's time for us old-timers to come out of the woodwork.
Been just over two years for me now (had to go back and see when I last posted), and as before a lot has happened.
Got married (coming up two years now in June), finally started seminary (just finishing up my second of three years), which has kept me quite busy, especially as this past year has had me as president of the student society.
Haven't really read much in the way of comics in that time: partially because we're on one income while I'm still in school, partially because I just haven't had a whole lot of time. I think the last Transformers comic I picked up (not counting the UK Dinobots trade I just noticed when I was strolling around a book store the other day)was the dreadful Megatron Origin #2.
But I've found myself bored and avoiding work on occasion as I come to the end of yet another academic year (can't tell you how glad I am that I've only got one more to go - that'll be 9 straight for those of you keeping count), wound up lurking here a few times, and thought I'd say hi.

HOLY MONGRELS!
I can't flippin' believe this! It's actually Blacksword! It's really Blackie!
Damn..! You're married?? Congratulations man!
But jeeze... your studies are really long... It was law-school if I don't recall incorrectly, right?
If you'd like some suggestions for some comics to pick up again, then I'd suggest Transformers: Stormbringer when it comes to our beloved robots, and for general comicy stuff, I'd say All Star Superman.

Actually I have all the issues of Nextwave except for one - the "Civil War crossover" that sold out before I could buy it because most Marvel readers weren't smart enough to pick up on the joke. If there's a trade for the second half I'd surely buy that.
As to my school - as much as some traditionalist Presbyterian ministers may still dress a lot like high court lawyers, I'm studying to be the former (though I'm not exactly a traditionalist in a lot of things) and not the later. Takes about the same amount of time though. My time in school has been especially long as I did two years of an engineering degree before switching faculties and getting my history degree.
