Book: 'Turning Thirty' by Mike Gayle

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Book: 'Turning Thirty' by Mike Gayle

Friends,

Hope you're all well and feeling great. I thought I'd stop by to recommend a book I just read. It's called 'Turning Thirty' by Mike Gayle, and I loved it. It's a real casually written novel about a guy, well, turning thirty. It's about his reality check, about returning home, meeting up with old friends, but all very sincere, not fake or hokey. Still, very light style and humorous too (for example, see Amazon).

As most of the bunch here (myself included) are around said age, I recommend it heartily. I couldn't put it down.

Big hug for those who'll have it, a handshake for those who don't, and a nod to those beyond coolness.
