Spotted them in Singapore last weekend, except maybe Mirage(Rijie?) I've had a close look at Megatron, and sadly there seems to be a bit of mold degradation - but they DO get chrome.

OK, Japan Classics are officially in stores here in Singapore, and I will admit at this point that my eyes may have been deceiving me. There's no mold degradation on these Megatrons now, even that botched paint on Bumblebee's roof doesn't seem to appear. Then again the first run might have been a bit lax on the QC so what do I know.
One interesting thing of note - Japanese Classics Astrotrain is in completely different colors. Dark grey and purple. Seriously.

Yeah I saw the Megs and Grimlock in that little store just over the road today...quite tempted by both, actually. Though he's sold out of Music Label Soundwaves in their proper colours
Dammit, you gonna get round to calling me at any point?

That's so true.Aaron Hong wrote:One interesting thing of note - Japanese Classics Astrotrain is in completely different colors. Dark grey and purple. Seriously.
I ordered a white Astrotrain from one site some months back, but the order had been stuck in 'Awaiting Stock' forever. Saw the Japanese Astrotrain available on another site earlier in the week so ordered it. It's now just waiting to be unboxed.
Then again, the original G1 Astrotrain was also available as white or grey too, so it's no real biggie.

These will interest some of you. Lots of pics of Classics Japan Astrotrain and Hot Rod, with comparisons to the US color schemes.
