Hi all,
No pressure but just wanted to let you all know that I am running the Cancer Research Race for Life in June. My Mum, big Sister and I are fundraising together so if you feel you can sponsor us anything at all (no amount too modest) then I would greatly appreciate it.

Thankies!

You're very kind. It's not what you give, but what you have left afterwards, that mattersPredabot wrote:I might be able to make a *very* small contribution. I've already payed a small bit to cancer-rehabilitation this year, but if I get a substitute-job this summer, then I might be able to give a little bit more.
It's a great thing you and your mom are doing.

All right, I've started to get some money once more. So, I should be able to give a small contribution now.
Can you tell me a bit more about Race for Life? What is it that you do? Is it like a power-trecking or big running marathon?
I'll probably only be able to give less than, or around, 9 pounds, so maybe you could tell me what you'd buy for the money that would help you on your undertaking? I'm thinking a big bottle of water and some sort of eadible snack would be fitting.

http://www.raceforlife.org/ is the official site if you'd like to take a glance.
It's essentially a sponsored run of 5k for all women who want to raise money for Cancer Research UK, there are heats across Britain, my Mum, Sister and I are running in Brighton as it's near our hometown. Unfortunately there is no male equivalent as yet, much to Karl's chagrin. All participants pay an entry fee which covers the organisation costs of the event so all sponsorship money goes directly to Cancer Research UK, and helps to raise awareness for the cause.
