TF Mosaic is a great platform for robolove fanwank.

I read the title and assumed it had to do with movie Jazz.

But yeah, Mosaic has ventured from "mini-stories between comics/cartoons" into full blown fanwank with "Decepticons are misunderstood" as a common issue theme. It scares me that most people who make them are the most likely candidates for jobs at IDW. I'd start reading them again if they weren't so...Dreamwave.

Christ, that is a grim thought.

The tacit approval of IDW for this forsaken dreck is another point of woe.

Why do people feel the need to sexualise Transformers like this?

It makes me very sad.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

******* hell, how much time does this ******* debacle of a person spend romancing themself?

I would never EVER accept a cup of tea if offered from this guy - it'd smell revolting, like tuna and pubes.

A lot of the Mosaic stuff makes me cringe. The art is often decent, but the writing and plotlines... Jesus. Anybody else get the impression that a lot of TF fans are pretentious Robo-Morrissey cocks?

Not the guys on this board - You're awesome.

I don't like spitting on people's hard work... but I agree entirely Snarlos :( Some of the art is nice, most of the stories I've seen are just... bleh. I'm aware of the limitations of a one-page-format, but the stories go nowhere, are usually very pretentious and don't take the characters beyond their 'Universe' profiles.

Quite why they're the current toast of the town I'm not sure...

There are some I've seen and really liked...

I remember one involving Razorclaw, that was solid stuff.

****** hell though, this one... It's a wank fantasy.

The format has a lot of potential for adding layers to other stories. When it's been done this way, the results have been pretty enjoyable.

When it's a wank fantasy for an obscure character... it's just gash innit.

It was inevitable.

Pervfic eventually finds its way into every storytelling medium. We get plain text eroticised TF. We get slash art. Given the efficiency of the Mosaic format, it was bound to crossover into it eventually.

It's rule 34 of the internet. If you can imagine it, there is porn of it. Mosaic is just slow catching up.

And what the [composite word including 'f*ck'] is a loyaties?

I like the Mosaics in the main but I'm surprised this one got through. I'd rather watch the love scenes in Attack of the Clones on a permanent loop than read that one again.

The only other one I've seen which I didn't like was the Wheelie one.

Oof.

in terms of the rest of the project - the art is usually good but i find a lot of teh stories to be a bit obvious and lacking in punch. Quite often people try and hook a really powerful last line and they just tend to fall a bit flat.

Still a by and large worthy endevour tho.

About as much use as genitalia or fetal gestation to robots.

What a truly redundant sentence.

Shut up then.

Yes, skyblaze is entitled to its opinion.

skyblaze is entitled to think the comic is cute. By the same virtue, I'm entitled to think skyblaze is an idiot.

As opposed to people who actually have writing credentials other than one-page fan stories?

Wait... there was Eric Holmes....
