Just gone midnight* in the UK, so I guess this is like an 'official' start for the new year on here, or something.

*Hmm, looks like the clock is a quarter of an hour slow. Oh well!

Well I'm off out clubbing in an hour or so - it's weird, parties here don't even start until 1 or 2am, which kind of misses the point, I think. But wishing everyone a happy 2008 nonetheless

I spent the "last few minutes of 2007" standing in the freezing cold with a few somewhat liquored up friends, wrapped around my [annoyingly

] sober boyfriend, waiting for fireworks.

I got effing wrecked and I still feel a little ill.

On a positive note, I've just had a massive evacuation and I'm all the better for it.

I've got plenty more in the tank though, going to have to evase eating food today I think.

Happy Late New Year! Was out of town for a few days visiting my sister, mom, and their messed-up hick family. Bastard cousin kept pinching the back of my neck. He said it was supposed to cut off the blood flow to the brain. I asked him if he had a clothespin pinching the same place. HA!

Maybe its just me getting old, but I couldn't get excited about it being New Year. I was quite happy to sit in the warmth and watch DVDs. Going out in the cold and getting drunk with crowds of people actually fills me with horror these days......

I watched a documentary about Clint Eastwood, drove my sister to some party, and saw a movie starring Clint Eastwood.

Probably the best new years eve ever for me

Happy New Year everyone!

Spent the evening in Amsterdam, at a friend's place. Lots of good food, even better wine, and excellent champagne. Some nice fireworks all around as well.

I saw that documentary too...

I'd love to one day finally have the same kind of BIG festive partying, with fireworks, new years eve that everybody else has every year tho.

I stayed in and watched the Hootennany. I'd just got back from a wedding and was wrecked anyway.

Anyway, it's 2008! That means there's a load of **** happening on Junk, with Death's Head, Cyclonus, Scourge and Unicron. Doesn't time fly?

I feel old. I played Moods and demolished a candy house with my sister and nephew. Afterwards we played full-contact ping-pong. It was a blast... for old people.
