If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Yay! Roughed up by a chav tonight
Post
by Hound » Tue Dec 11, 2007 12:41 am
So I was walking back on my own from the pub tonight after seeing an old friend, and I saw a dodgy looking hoody cross from the other side of the road, clearly to intercept me.
He pushed me in the chest and started shouting at me in some foreign language, so with my car keys in my hand I punched him in the face. And walked off. He wasn't shouting anymore!!
******* hoodies

If they haven't broken out in burberry and bling within three days, you should be fine.
Have I ever told you you're my hero?

Haha, that's great! Well done.
I guess he didn't see that one coming. What nationality do you wager he was? East-europe? Middle-east?
I guess the big question was if he was just out to duff somebody up, or if he had been singling you out all night, for some reason or another.

Nice work, Hound. The old keys-in-the-hand trick is a beaut.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I suspect the other side of the story would be somewhat over-exaggerated, with no less than 20 assailants, being jumped from behind, some kind of samurai sword, a tale of almost overwhelming odds, and a strategic withdrawal which is in no way a coward's retreat.

It's a chav. Behaviour is about as predictable as Brownian Motion.

From the time I spent in Man, there are enough native born English chavs to go around.

Yah, I'm sure chavs come in all flavors, and quite possibly primarily saxon/kelt, but according to Hound he was not shouting his obscenity's in english..

Well, it could've been a Pikey in a hoodie.
Probably depends on how unwashed he was.
Pikey AIDS.

You know, I actually sat here for a moment trying to think of a bigger ownage. Nope.
