Apparently so.

Well.. I guess this is good news for Guido's fans, but personally I'm a bit peeved, that Don wont be finishing the entire series...
I know he recently said that he wont be doing TF so much anymore, but that he would leave so abruptly, in the middle of a mini-series, that, I did not think.
Hmm, I suppose it could be some kind of internal friction within IDW, but I had gotten the idea that most of the artists were having a decently good time?
So, any thoughts on this?

I think like Nick Roche, Don should have been given the chance to do a one shot.
If you read his interview, you can tell he wanted to do some creative writing as well.
After all he's done, he should have at least been given a shot.

Seeing as Don's a cartoon fan, I don't think his Megs origin would have been much better in story, only better drawn.
I'm glad to see more of Guido - he's my second fav. IDW artist.

Quite frankly, that comic was going nowhere as far as I could tell other then throwing in cartoon cameos (Archeville, Fairborne, Charr, Sky Lynx, etc...) and super-powered fan characters.
I only like it and wish it'd continue because of the art, which was and still is superb. If you haven't seen it yet, an old friend of mine (sometimes calling himself Unicron, other times Quintesson) colored most of it, I'll dig up his devianart account...

You know, that's true.Best First wrote: As an aside 'Shockwave did it' now seems to be part of the fan lexicon- we are the aws0m£stttt!
It's being used everywhere now.
Which sucks if you're a Shockwave fan, because Shockwave may never do it again for fear of being unoriginal.

He might do it though, just never admit it was him who did it.
Although... Shockwave pretty much is the starting force behind the main IDW storyline, I mean, the TFs wouldn't have gone to Earth if it wasn't for the Ore-13 he created in the first place, and because of which Starscream rebelled, which drew Megatron to Earth prompting Prime to return... and Bludgeon found Ore-13 through reading Shockwave's journal and used it to revive Thunderwing... and now Ore-13 made Earth a very important planet, even prompting a response from the dreaded Reapers.
So, yeah, in IDW too, Shockwave did it all... albeit unintenionally.
