I kept my finger on Enter, to skip through the text and close the window, only for me to keep pressing enter on the link, here at transfans!

I was stuck in some never ending death loop.

Untill I hit ctrl-alt-del...

Aye, I just held down enter. Fortunately, Firefox's "you have multiple tabs open, do you want to close them all" prompt saved me from the fate you encountered, as it just shut the browser entirely.
