TRANSFORMERS MOSAIC: "RAIN"

Post by Richter » Wed Oct 24, 2007 6:44 pm

Since its beginning, the Mosaic project has had many special events; the first piece posted, Robby Musso's piece and more recently our "www.Newsarama.com" interview where we were very lucky to announce, Simon Furman, Alex Milne, and Eric Holmes' involvement.

Today is very much another ‘red letter’ day for the project. Today is the day when the first Mosaic, “Rain”, is re-printed by IDW in Transformers: Devastation #2.

Huge thanks goes to Chris Ryall of IDW, for without him, Mosaics would never have felt the smooth touch that is a printed comic book page.

In celebration of the occasion, over the week, we are very happy to (re)present the original fan-works that inspired the Mosaic project. Starting today, and continuing each day, we will be posting one of the www.allspark.com pieces.

We would like to say thanks to all those involved in the original project, and hope that they accept this week as our tribute to their fantastic work.

Furthermore, to anyone who has written, penciled, inked, colored, lettered or just commented on a Mosaic, thank you. This is a big day for Transformers: Mosaic and it would never have occurred without all of your support.

So sit back and enjoy this special presentation, and without further ado…

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

This piece is called "Rain", story by Linda Cormack, art by Kris Carter (aka Drivaaar).

Looking forward to holding it in my hot little hands.

Will they all eventually see print?
