Good news, everyone! [/Farnsworth]
- We can see what's happening! (well, for the time being, anyway)
- Stuff is actually happening! (admittedly it's what anybody with half a brain would expect, but still...)
Isn't that great? And about damn time?
Okay, it in no way redeems the previous three issues and the manner in which it's allowed to happen is mind-numbingly stupid, but standards may have to be adjusted in this instance...

Ok, the art is a massive step up - absolutely stellar leap. Its hard to believe its the same artist.
But that's good.
Story wise however still looks dull obvious and lacking in various ways.
"Hey, that guy i met last week, he's the crux of my plan. Wow! I am an evil genius!"
Plus its highly evocative seeing the offing of a bunch of characters i have never met and who's role has never been explained.
No really, it is.

Yeah it's pretty much what I too foretold would happen. Though I'm surprised that Rumble and Frenzy weren't with SW too.
Another foretelling- Megs will say to SS: "Nice job, Starscream... just don't get too used to betraying me." to which SS will smirk knowingly. it's what every fanboy writer would do, it's so predictable.
Ah and the Council and the security are morons, why didn't they put Screamer in shackles or at least left the inhibitor claw on him? Gah...

"I've come to believe you are working for the enemy, Vervain. There is no other explanation... for your idiocy." (General Woundwort)

Oh deary deary me.
"Sir! One of the violent killers we have downstairs would like to talk to you!"
"Well show him right in. Er, you don't think he might try to, well, violently kill me, do you?"
"Couldn't rightly say, sir. I think my design is loosely based on Straxus, but that's about as far as any personality goes."
"WTF? He's got GUNS! You didn't tell me he had GUNS!"
"It's worse than that, apparently Soundwave now has the ability to teleport."
Also, can't find a thread on this over at IDW...have they, er, removed it?
[edit] aha, they're posted in the #3 reaction thread

Exactly! I mean, are we seriously supposed to expect an advanced alien race of robots to know what an X-ray is? Or even to know the art of strip-seaches? Everyone knows humans are superior to giant robots in EVERY WAY. How can we expect them to know even the smallest amount of technology? They're robots for pete's sake!Best First wrote:But the weapons are HIDDEN!
How are professional security forces supposed to see that coming? They are HIDDEN damnit.
