What an extraordinary piece of reasoning...Skywarp comes with a sticker depicting either Cyclonus or Armada (who are identical, let's not forget) but which also has the word "ARMADA" written on it. So it must mean that he is Cyclonus.

Awesome stuff. Makes me long for the good old Life Spark days.

I was amazed to see Figueroa use good sense and make Bombshell become Cyclonus in the movie adaptation comic. Mainly because it's hardly the fanboy thing to do.

Given the spectacular lack of characterisation given to both Bombshell and Skywarp prior to getting mashed up in TFTM and one of them maybe turning into a character who seemed to be possesed of pretty much a brand new personality, i think the important question is actually:

Who gives a ****?

We should all be pondering more important questions, like why am i not married to Christina Aguilera or do kids today think that is real music?

I suppose it makes sense that Skywarp and Thundercracker become Cyclonus and "Armada" leaving Bombshell and any other Insecticons to become Scourge and the Sweeps.

The sweeps were clones and a swarm, Cyclonus and his Counterpart were just 2.

I dunno, it doesn't really matter I guess. I just think it's one of those moments that should've been handled better / more clearly / with more consideration (Those Characters had/have fans also) take your pick.

Maybe Unicron just mashed all the pieces together to make Cyclonus and Scourge and gave them both Clone Generators.

Of course if Ron Friedman had thought to write Unicron's dialogue the other way around, it wouldn't even be an issue.

"Cyclonus, the hunter, and his Armada - Scourge the tracker, and his Sweeps" or whatever it was.

Makes the "armada" sensibly refer to the actual fleet he commands and chalks the appearance of another him down solely as an animation flub.

Anyway, I like to think that Thundercracker and Skywarp became Scourge and Cyclonus and that "Armada" was who Galvatron piloted in TFTM.

Okay, the entire rationale behind this argument is stupid.

I've now got my MP Skywarp and have see the label sheet first hand.

A label sheet that has stickers saying Destron and stickers saying Decepticon. Because they're letting people decide for themself what they want to put on the toy.

Ergo... they're letting people decide for themselves.
