Worth it for the Furman/Senior reunion alone. While Senior isn't as sparky as he was in his prime, his art just simply is Transformers to me, and I got a kick out of seeing it again.
Not a big fan of the colouring though. The script isn't as, say, mature as the original Marvel UK comic but at least doesn't skew as young as the UK Armada thing.
For young fans in this country that haven't read IDW's stuff this comic is an absolute bargain. As well as the 10 page originated strip, there's the serialisation of Beast Wars, the Movie Prequel, fact files put together with love and care, competitions and a letters page. I don't quite get how all the little kids who have written in have already seen the new movie tho...

Same way I saw it, I suspect
This dropped through my letterbox and was a pleasant surprise...I'd forgotten all about the damn thing. It's a great nostalgia trip to have an A4 Transformers comic delivered to my house and then open it up to find Seniory goodness again, mixed with US reprints. Squeeing like I'm 9 again, really.
I'm wearing my dog tags.

agree and agree.
The story is a bit reminsicent of other ones but i think he's set up a nice mini Matrix Quest style tale with the characters scattered like that, even if the reason for it was pretty forced (although not an unusual style of plot device for the audience this seems pitched at).
Quite please with my key ring as well.
Also enjoyed the Ratchet profile.

Nice Don art in issue 4. The new artist in each issue keeps things fresh.
This issue had a psychological angle: seeing things that aren't there, beings gripped by a madness that makes them fight each other, which Furman's done plenty of times before. Still nice to see him not talking down to his audience tho.
The 4 issues read better back to back. I didn't realise, reading them a month apart, that they follow on directly from each other.
