I've been in the same situation with Lloyds. I was between jobs and they ****** me over in this way. I even sat down with them to say I'd just started a new job and could they help. They offered me a loan!Karl Lynch wrote:I'm currently in the process of taking Lloyds TSB to court- they owe me over £700 in overdraft charges over the last few years! And they're currently whinging at me because I'm over my limit again... I wouldn't be if you didn't charge me £60+ each time I bring it back within the limit! Damnit all.
That's what I'm hoping- I'm counting down the 14 days until the judgement is mine by default. My only concern would be if they try and challenge on the grounds I'm still overdrawn, but that doesn't have anything to do with it as I'm reclaiming charges from February backwards?Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:stick it to them Karl, i saw on watchdog many banks never even turn up to court. some crazy figure like 99% of cases are not defended.
I'm sure you'll be fineImpactor returns 2.0 wrote:I should hopefully go into a new job next week, and i know this sounds completely silly due to what I do but I have a problem with numbers in standard form, I tend to mess them up by 1 digit quite offten, som im pretty sure im going to look a right tit at work...
Thats trueI hope your not lossing confidence in your own skills Karl, everyone makes mistakes, we are only human.
If you call them up and make a noise about it they might refund itLegion wrote:Definitely good news on the bank front!
Am a bit pissed off with my bank at the moment as they've stolen £50 from my account this month... could've done with that money this month
Yeah, I sent them a very, very arsey email over the weekend and having just quickly checked my account again, those charges seem to have vanished, although I have not heard word back from them saying anything about it... I need to sit down and check it out properly.Karl Lynch wrote:If you call them up and make a noise about it they might refund itLegion wrote:Definitely good news on the bank front!
