Yeah, I understand the way that works.
Lure you in with beautiful intro graphics and give you crap when you play the game -.-

Hopefully this'll be just a tad different.
And I've only seen it for Xbox 360 and PS whatever...maybe I just don't look hard enough though.

edit: Found it for everything except PC. I'm sure they'll get one out though.

the in game graphics are pretty good but obviously not as good as a cinematic render, they never will be.

yep, 360 version, obviously, like the PS3 it boasts the best visuals but unlike the PS3 version it has all the online stuff to unlock, and download.
i wouldnt be surprised if at some point some old G1 TF turn up to download, actually im going to pin alot of cash on that bet, and say i belive even Galvatron will turn up at some point, i base this all on hear of course... but Im right.

Anyhows, if the online mode works like crackdowns MP online mode, then i hope to be teaming up with a few 360 owners out there to beat each other up or trash some decepticons/autobots.

roll out! - how sad...

If it's half as much fun as the Atari Armada game it will be worth messing with :)

@the trailer (sorry first chance I've had to watch it) looks pretty tasty indeed, my only gripe is I have a hard time telling the robots apart :( I can pick out Prime, Megsy and Bumblebee but haven't a clue who the others are (I'm guessing the jet is Screamer?).

I always felt that G1 was so strong because it featured clear colorschemes. This movie seems to be about grey robots most of all.

very true, they're all quite samey. But it just might mean it'll take some getting used to.

I can tell most of them apart by now.
I have a tendancy to visit the website very often.

And yes the Screamer is the jet. He's also the one with the upside down triangle torso. I think he's pretty easy to tell, but that's just coming from someone like me that's a Starscream freak. :D

I have to agree, one of my main gripes with the designs used in the new movie were not that they looked different from what we knew and loved from the past but that the robots are very indistinct, confusing and messy. I understand that they might represent a TF robot better but the designs are to complex to be easy on the eye.

I got the game today. (for 360)
And I've played almost the entire Decepticons game through.
I love it. It's actually a standable difficulty, not too hard and not so easy you can blow through the entire game 100% complete in one day...unless you really want it that bad.

The only thing that is frustrating me is the Blackout v. Ironhide boss fight.
Good lord that Autobot is difficult to beat.
Bumblebee and Jazz? No sweat...Ironhide makes me want to throw my controller at the tv.

The graphics, like everyone has realized are amazing. I think (just seeing the Decepticons side of the fighting) that Starscream looks the best. Not being biased or anything, Starscream looks brilliant and Blackout comes next. I haven't played with Megs yet, so I can't really add him into the equation, but he's next.

Gameplay is excellent, the camera frustrates me sometimes, but it frustrates me in every game I play. And it's true, you can just about pick up everything and destroy everything. A lot of the Decepticon missions have to do with destroying almost everything in sight.

To sum it up, I think it's worth the over 60 bucks I spent on it. Almost putting me at 20 bucks in my bank account.
I'm still working on my army...call me in 2 years.
I'll destroy you then.
