John ******* Rambo.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

It feels oh so wrong to be excited about a rambo film. Its like 80s action all over again. :D

Ghostbusters 3...

I'd be all over some of that ****.

So far in 07 I've had a decent Spurs, TF film, Prince concert...

GB 3 would smash it!

I heard of two concepts for this movie last year. One involving new generation of the Busters (Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller and their pals), with the old ones as their mentors. The other would take TMNT route and old actors would provide voices.

Between those 2 options I prefer the animated one. I wouldnt stand a second Starsky and Hutch thing.

woah... Rambo's kicking arse once more...

hmmm... has Stallone run out of cash recently or something?

I think Stallone remembered that, when he's handling movies himself, they tend to be pretty good. He probably also noticed that movies made with less than 150 million tend to suck. Then, and this is where I'm making a leap of faith, he remembered that Academy Award he won for the movie he wrote and starred in himself that THAT jogged his memory that he's ******* talented.

Now to continue hoping for another Dredd movie.

That starts filming next month, iirc. Transformers star Shia Lebouf is in it.

Fourth. Starsky and Hutch, Zoolander, and Night at the Museum.

As for Ghostbusters 3, I'd like either a third live action movie set in the same storyline at present time with the old crew dusting off their equipment for one final ride, or just leaving the Ghostbusters series alone. You can't really pull off another live action Ghostbusters movie with another cast(Stiller being worst-case scenario) because I'm sure it would be a made into a sub-par kiddie movie that pulls a plot out of a hat during the last ten minutes.

Either way, nothing beats that old 80's smell. :headbang:

I get the feeling Stallone's gonna shake off a lot of the goodwill of Rocky Balboa (worthy conclusion to that franchise) with this one.

Still, things blowing up... cool!
