I'm going to just keep living my life like it's not happening.
I'll go see it, but my feelings for it are far from what one would call "anticipation."

Preparing for it? It's a film, not a marathon.
Rewatching any previous series has about as much point as rereading the Dark Phoenix saga before watching X3.
Not fussed that they look nowt like the original models. They're not the original models. It's a reimagining, and I generally regard people whining about them looking different in the same way I regard people complaining about humanoid Cylons. Yawn.
Where was I? Oh, right. Original cartoon = rubbish. Original comic = of the past. Original toys = not the ones being promoted. I've as much interest in whining about the designs as I do about whining about the Armada designs... actually, I've about as much interest in the film as I do in Armada. I'll go see it, I may well enjoy it, but I'm not going to cry because it's different to what I remember.
That was apathy, not spite, before anybody misinterprets.
And yes, I've seen people who seemingly expected the new film's designs to be exactly as per the original cartoon. Badly drawn blocky cel animation ahoy! I feel a photoshop coming on...
And Bay's a great choice. Big explosions! Because, let's face it, the script's gonna be naff...

Hoping that my anticipation will rival the same feeling I had when The Phantom Menace was a week away. Haven't really had the chills I had with that first Phantom Menace preview.
As big a TF fan as I am, it's unfortunate that I was more eagerly awaiting the new Star Wars movie than this one.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Re: lol!!
I didn't mean anything bad about Gobots. The point hidden in the joke was that a robot simply transforming doesn't make it a Transformer.anna wrote:hey whats wrong with the go-bots lol!! they were cool toys(mostly)
