This time it's a lot closer than the one in Taiwan, close enough that Singapore felt the tremors. The TV news has some viewer-submitted phonecam footage of water in fishtanks sloshing and trinkets swinging on store walls, and an evacuation of a building. And the whole damn time, I felt my chair swaying when I sat in front of my PC and thought 'buggers downstairs with their renovating again'.
And there really was reno work downstairs, we've been hearing the hammer drills all week... but still, hot damn.
