Frankly they made me a bit giddy.

Yeah, the whole "leaving Wonder Woman" thing was a bit of a non-story, I thought... didn't really warrant a thread.

I mean "scriptwriter leaves project he's spent two years failing to come up with a draft the producers like" is hardly a shocker, is it...

Psyched for the comic, though. Even if I dislike what I've read about The Immortal stuff. :/

i guess i wasn't that big a fan of the notion she was just merrily partying while stuff was going on so i don't really mind it.

She used to merrily party whilst stuff went on in the early seasons.

But you're right, it is out of character with her no-fun self righteous act from Empty Places.

Plus surely even she'd be self-aware enough to realise that The Immortal is just basically an Angel/Spike cipher.

i think i read it as her pretty much doing little else, but maybe that was a harsh assesment.

either way though, not to bothered by the retconning lark.

Plus it leaves the Angel stuff more open.

Hang on, doesn't she say in the preview that there are three Buffys? And only one is partying and dating the Immortal?
