An announcement has been made on the official website. Transforce is postponed due to 'financial considerations'.........

I'm gutted. I was really looking forward to this.

If Paul wants to elaborate, he will. Either by announcing on his site or by posting on the MBs.We might need an interview with Cannon methinks..

Hi guys, to cast a bit more light:
Basically its a money thing. I need to make back most of what I spend on the show this year or else I'll have big problems. It costs me several thousand to put on the show each year, and I don't expect to get it all back, however this year is a bit of a difficult time. Due to a number of other circumstances, namely a new baby and losing my job, I just can't take the risk.
I'm working very hard at the moment on other projects, and when they start baring fruit, then I can think about putting on the show again, and I'd really like to.
When I'm a bit more flush, I'll start work on Transforce again. I can't put a date on it yet, but I would imagine late 2007/early 2008, and not near Botcon or AA. However that is not a promise.
I'm really sorry about letting down all those excited people. I even thought about hiring a much smaller venue and running a mini-Transforce, but I'm not really sure that's what people want. At one point I was going to do two a year, Transforce and Transforce minor (mini-Transforce), but people didn't seem interested.
I hope that clears up a few things.
And to clarify, our highest numbers were Transforce 2002 with 400 attendants. In 2004 it was slightly less.
