God, that's horrible.
No more so than Barricade, though. That is without a doubt the worst thing I've seen in a long while. What a ridiculous transformation. I feel like I've gone back in time with those arms. Is he supposed to be a Go Bot?

TFW2005 has them.
Ugh, they mostly look like crap...especially that Frenzy-thing. Or should I call him 9D9? :O
Throw a rock at me, but I like Barricade. He's still the most G1/Alternator like of them all, even though the arms are weird. The head, on the other hand, looks better then the CGI-one (that one looks like Waspinator) - reminds me of Banzai-Tron, actually.
SCorponok is officially WORST TF EVER. Heck, Wheelie looks better then that. I don't mind the legs, it's the way they left the tail hanging, and - especially - that they were lazy not to give him a robot head. So far, if I remember right, EVERY beast TF, even BM ones, or Injector, had a separate robot head. Never was the beast head used for the robot head... that is darn ugly AND lazy.
When asked to comment about his recent movie incarnation, G1 Scorponok had this to say:

Thanks, got Scorpy 2 days ago... Still looking for a Lord Zarak. I have a TM Nighstick in return, should anyone have a spare one...
From what I heard (and read in the script), Scorpy will not transform in the movie... in retrospect, that's probably a good thing.

Jaguar in Beast Wars Metals line used the same head for animal and humanoid robot mode. Pictures can be found for example from my site.BB Shockwave wrote: -snip-

Darn... yeah. I forgot about that one, Osku... That is a real cool toy, btw.
This Movie Scorp on the other hand... heck, he doesn't even has a head or a face, just 4 big eyes where his head should be. Even a kitbasher could put a robot head in there. (in fact, I might do that, since the scorpion mode does look good).

Nice toy, but not worth the price it normally sells. While I appreciate Takara's effort to make a Jaguar/Ravage toy, it's easy to see that it's just a kitbash version from another toy.BB Shockwave wrote:Darn... yeah. I forgot about that one, Osku... That is a real cool toy, btw.
Not arguing that. "Robot mode" seems like an afterthought. Pity, I really like the scorpion mode. This Movie Scorp on the other hand... heck, he doesn't even has a head or a face, just 4 big eyes where his head should be.
