"Hush, Besters. Darkness gathers for your wallet." :o

It could be one of the best TF-toys in history, if it takes as much care and notice as MP-01, teh Prime, otherwise, it will always be scorned for what it could have been.

Here's to hopin' lads.

I definitely would have to think this is going to be super sweet. Although having a spaceshipy Megs right after Starscream is kinda silly. Is a gun really too much to ask for? Riots in the streets if it's just a repainted Starsky with a different head.

So, for clarification...
MP:
1 - Op
2 - UM
3 - Op w/ Trailer?
4 - Starsky?

If, like MP Starscream, it'll be made in Japan, it COULD be a gun. They have no laws against that... so maybe. Not a Walther, but some newer gun... at any rate, we'll get a G1 Megs that'll be as articulate as MP Prime.

Hell, I'll anticipate this 50% more then the TF Bay Movie... :)

Confirmed...

http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=113658

Masterpiece Megatron will be a GUN!!!! 8)

Now, of course, we have people bitching about why he isn't a tank. I guess two Titanium Megatrons, one classics tank and a retool of Hero Megatron wasn't enough for some folk.

Now I have raised my 'looking forward to this' expectations to 80%... :)

People also complain he's gonna be too small... why? How big is MP Prime, anyway? I'm getting one next week but frankly I thought he's about the size of PM Prime. If Megs is as big in robot mode, at least he would turn into an oversized gun. I see no problems with that... he'd be instantly recognisable as a toy gun that way.

Personally, my reaction on seeing a gun isn't usually "hang on... that model of firearm is actually 33% smaller than that! It's an obvious replica."

It's usually "**** - he's got a gun."

I can't beleive some people are complaining that he's not a tank!
for years fans have been complaining that megs isn't a gun... and then when they (apparently) go and make him a gun again, people complain.

ffs.

Noooo!!!! :( Who will protect Gotham and Transfans now?

Btw... confirmed what I predicted. Megs is gonna be the same size as MP01 Prime in robot mode, thus he is an oversized gun. He's also gonna be a Walther P-38. Only accessory we know he'll have is his fusion cannon. Am I a psychic or what? 8) (Actually I'm Aaron Archer in disguise, folks. :ididit:)

Until I see pics, I'm not convinced of anything in this topic.

So Starscream is smaller than Optimus, but Megatron is bigger?

I'm not really a toon fan - as you know -, but man, Kremzeek ROCKS. :)

Plus... Megs comes with the light saber and the 'dropped' gun he shot Prime with in the Movie! Man, that's really thoughtful...

Gun mode looks great too. Some people observed there is no place for a stock to clip onto on the legs, so they might not release Megs with all accessories later like they did with Prime.

Again, when will Megs hit the stores?

Oh and btw... about painting Megs' barrel orange in the USA? It could be worse...

Yeah, that comment about the stock not having anywhere to clip on confused me slightly... the bottom of the handle could easily slot into something from the way I'm looking at it.

Megatron in bunny slippers = awesome.

I mean hell, BW Megs had a rubber ducky.

They have to. THEY HAVE TO.

Hell, throw in Starscream just to recreate the dumping-out-of-Astrotrain scene.

Hmm, after Prime and now 2 Deceps, I pretty much am sure the next one will be a Bot too... I hope it's NOT Rodimus Prime, whom the Japs love so much for some reason - Titanium Rodimus is great as a retconned Rodimus. I pray for Masterpiece Grimlock, but as I heard, in Japan the dinobots are not that much liked - which I fail to understand, as they love dinosaurs AND robots. I just hope it won't be some obscure Japanese G1 character like Dai Atlas.

Hmmmm.....if they're going with a Bot, and they want to stay away from cars, planes, and dinobots.....I dunno.

You know what I want to see? Working Transformers. Give me a Blaster that acts as speakers for an Ipod. A serious microscope Perceptor. A Masterpiece Triple Changer. An Omega Supreme that can go into orbit.
