Great toys, especially Rodimus - who is so much better then the original - but what I like the best are the character profiles. Soundwave's is so spot -on, the shadowy counselor secretly bending his leader the way he wants him... it's the closest we can get to Marvel UK Soundwave.

I wouldn't say he acted any differently in Marvel US really.
Sometimes I get the feeling I'm the only fan in existance, of Marvel US?
ALSO: They're both ace.

Wish I could afford a Titanium.

I love Us Marvel, but knowing the Uk part is what puts everything in context in the whole picture.

Really? I'd say there was a lot of difference.

I wonder if Furman will - with the Spotlight #3 - handle Hot Rod differently then "the guy who always messes up and fail"
About Soundwave... closest he got to his UK self was when he betrayed Megatron for Shockwave, and when Predaking failed, he shamelessly betrays Shockwave... only to congratulate him moments later when Megs blows himself up. One of Budiansky's better stories (but he did manage to cram in a useless humie tourist with an appetite for clams...)
In Marvel UK? read Second Generation (not G2!) part 3. Best Soundwave story, ever... perfectly describes the character. heck even Finkleberg was funny in that issue...

...back on topic... Soundwave looks like they made him a boombox instead of a Walkman, which makes a funny kind of sense since it's all iPods now, while people still carry boomboxes around.
