Full CGI. And they didn't feel the need to 'change' the franchise and make them Teenage Ninja Frogs because, y'know, Frogs are cooler.

Why do I feel that this will bomb better then Bayformers? I wish the TF movie was made by these people.

I just learned this is 1,5 months old news, so sorry if this is old news...

I like the plot, and finally Karai will debut in the movie as well (sadly it continues the old TMNT Movies so the Shredder is dead now (killed twice now if I recall...)

Btw: from Comic-Con

Long time & hard-core TMNT fans i'm really sure will appreciate the direction that Kevin is going with the franchise.Direct involvment & guidance with Peter Laird & Mirage was necessary & was received. you can really tell Mr.Munroe cares about the Turtles and that great care has taken been taken to get the true vision Laird has always wanted ..i even recall a breif positive comment and props by .. .. .. Kevin Eastman based on what he saw !!

So, umm Murphy and Bay say they care for the franchise. That's why neither Furman, Budiansky, makers of the G1 cartoon or Bob Forward and his gang weren't consulted, I guess...

Btw, think what if they made the TF movie like this. No live-action actors would mean more money for CGI - means more characters!
