Alternators Nemesis Prime on shelves in Singapore

Post by Aaron Hong » Thu Sep 28, 2006 11:50 am

Technically this is old news because Nemesis Prime popped up just after Alternators OP sold out (which was pretty fast - got mine at a collector's outlet) but here's the deal:

http://bwtf.com/alternators/nemesis-prime/
Only 3,000 of these figures were made for limited release between the Hasbro store at San Diego Comic-Con 2006, the Hasbrotoyshop.com and the Mastercollector shop. The tale of the difficulty fans had obtaining this figure are the stuff of fan legend (and frustration) but suffice it to say this was a limited, much sought after figure.
...and yet I'm seeing this bugger in every TF-carrying store in Singapore, released normally like any other Alternator (and not quite flying off the shelves either). Anyone know what that's about?

Don't everybody swing by all at once...

Can't believe I didn't hear of this earlier. Looks like they're finally giving up on those horrid KissPlayers and making REAL Binaltech TFs again! And the reason I'm posting here is because it's...

Binaltech Black Convoy, Japan's take on Nemesis Prime. And it even reuses the Hasbro packaging, but this is big news anyway. Woo to the freaking Hoo.

Well, it's over now - Nemesis Prime's sold out, replaced by Ravage in all the usual places. Thanks for tuning in.
