Furries

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Well, considering furries could mean anything from a hirstute, burly gay man to dressing up in a fursuit and having sex like you're nothing but mammals, I think some clarification is in order.

You say only female pics as if people would think that much less of you if it were guys too. I'd have thought anybody open minded enough to accept somebody was into furry porn wouldn't bother too much about the gender.

TBH it doesn't bother me, furries are harmless imo and presumably give some people a lot of pleasure so it's fine.

Your right that gender dose not really matter and when I say only female pics what i ment was a pic with a female and a male. Trust me I have nothing against homosexuals.(my best friend is gay)

I still don't understand what this furries thing is about. But it sounds soft and cuddly.

Can someone please explain?

It's a hybrid of animals and humans.
Say, a fox with breasts, a sexy look in her eyes, a nice ass, etc.

NOT SAFE, ETC

If you click on the link you'll see a furry.
If the mods don't approve of this then I'll take the punishment.

Thanks Obfleur. Not sure what to think of this yet. Now I'm wondering what other things exist that I know nothing of...

Whenever I find something that I didn't know existed, I go read up on it @ Wikipedia, and take the subsequent entry as absolute, unmitiaged, unmutable truth.

Either that, or I just continue to deny its existance.

The CSI episode with the furries convention was pretty good :)

Whatever people need to get their kicks I suppose, so long as it doesn't harm anyone.

Yeah, as with all fads (like roleplaying, computer games, even TFs), there are some who do it as a hobby occasionally. And some for those it's a form of life... frankly I think those who even dress up as furries or roleplay it are friggin weird, though who am I to judge? Btw it's not these people who made this up, but the cartoons -least I think that's how it started, with antropomorphic animals by Disney, WB, etc.

wow good to know I'm not a total freek.yeah I like furries and they are kinda sexy. I love furry art it's just cool and not all of it is porn (but who am I kidding that's really all I look at). You know I was thinking what if they were real? Would they look as sexy as they do in most drawings or would they be ugly as the worst kind of sin.( I hoping for the former)

Hopefully senator John McCain's "Anti-Furry Act" will be voted into law next year, so those demonspawn can be removed from the earth once and for all.
:D ... unless they'll actually make such a law...

(Hi everyone. I'm back!)

When I was six my dad noticed Usagi Yojimbo on an episode of TMNT and he showed me some of the original comics. At the time I though, and I still do think, that they were among the greatest comics in the whole world. Although at that time "Furry Fandom" did not exist as a concept, I got it and still think it's a nifty idea.

Then I saw "Omaha Cat Dancer." Okay... That's kind of weird but I'll go with it...

Then I saw pictures of people in fur costumes standing in line for a "furry parade" and I thought, "Sweet God people, pull back!"

So no, I don't have anything against furries in general. Remember that some of the world's greatest comics, such as "Maus" are furry. But when I see people who are obsessed with it and let it rule their lives, I think it's disgusting and disturbing. Of course, in that case it's the obsession itself that I'm against and not the actual object of the obsession.

-J

(and BTW, if you haven't read the first four "Usagi" collections and at least the first "Maus" then your life, unfortunately, will never be complete.)

Eric Schwartz.

First heard of this guy back in the early 90's due to his work with the Amiga, very similar to games at the time, like Superfrog, James Pond/Robocod, etc.

Ah yes, the Sabrina Online guy. But at least those are cute in the Looney Toons fashion, not as weird as the hardcore furry crowd would have it...
