Time Trumpet - BBC2

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

yes.

"After the war on terror ended, we had a big party. Unfortunatley someone planted a bomb and a lot of people died, so the next day we declared war on terror again, but this time we decided not to have a party at the end"

i bet they get a sh*t load of complaints, much like the Brass Eye Nonce episode.

It has an ar of quality about it I love in the brass eye sense

"Denmark declared war on tescos!" - with 3 legged robots blasting the place!

brillant.

The war on terror was amazing - "we lost the war and have been living under terror for 13 years - hows it been?"

"Its been ok really"

Prince Harry:

"The Tesco thing was a shock. Because I quite like the Danes. A couple of my occasional ****s are Danes"

Made me gob coffee over my keyboard.

Yeah, that is class.

Check this bastion of journalistic integrity out here:

I find it interesting how she, a representative of a supposedly truth seeking profession, encourages people who have not actually seen the show to complain to the BBC based on her own opinions.

how is this amatuer a published journo?

I could be a pedantic git and point out that Tesco is allready the biggest retailer in Europe... In fact I encourage you all to complain to the BBC for their inacuracy over this fact.

I just thought that the women who was complaing about TT (in regard to laughing at terroism is wrong...) was a total ****. I just had to explain to that her fanny was dry and she needed a new dildo as she clearly wasnt getting enough love in her life.

I may write to point out that he article may have had more impact is she had started bysayig the parody is spot on in what it actually is - the parody of right wing moralistic judgemental leppers like the one she is 'roll playing' who on one hand go off on one over an obvious satire without having reviewed the material themselves whilst on the other hand revel in real life atrocities that are committed.

Then applaud her for knowing that that is where the true comedy lies in this example, in getting dickhead commentators to make tools of themselves.

I'll then thank her for entering into the spirit of the whole 'comedy pie', that nobody could possibly have been as amatuerish as she has appeared to have been, that her article must be deliberate on her part, to move the joke along.

"Your charicature of a foaming right wing think tank **** is superb!"

"doubtless you must know many who dont understand how clued in you are are actually laughing AT you. Very noble thing to do in the name of comedy on you're part - but since you are all knowing, you aren't that bothered as you're laughing with AND at US!"

Then I'll ask her to mail me a picture off her with her jugs out.
