If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

It's a bit late but my friend's grandad died last month, he was a legend in the UK comics industry and provided lettering for 2000 AD as well as Transformers. There were letters of condolence in the magazine this week and they're planning to do a special commemorative issue for him.

Sadly missed :(
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

That's sad. His lettering style was a lot different to other UK letterers and I liked that. Firebug, Dry Run, the '89 Annual... he really contributed to their look. :)

Sounds like he has a good legend to leave behind. If he has any requirement for it: good luck in the hereafter  If he doesn't, he sounds like he made a good contribution to life while he was here
