If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

This tv-series is
amazing.
IMO it's up their with Scrubs, South Park and Seinfeld.
My favourite character is Tobias - I just love his antics. The Blue Man Group is genious
I have watched up till episode three, of season three.
Anyone else?

Can't believe I'm still here.

I've heard good things about it, but haven't seen any of it as of yet-hopefully one of the satellite channels will pick it up soon.
Scrubs and South Park are indeed awesome, as is Seinfeld (although it took me a while to give in and watch it).
If you're after great comedy, I'd recommend Chappelle's Show, and King of Queens (well, they're two of my favourites anyway).
I feel the need to finish this post with yet another awkwardly short and disjointed sentence.

Arrested Development is fantastic, shame about the cancellation though.
The episode where Buster "Loses" his hand is unbelievably hilarious.

Cancellation?! I thought they were making season four (or doing this fall).
IMDB doesn't mention any cancellation

Can't believe I'm still here.

You mean you've missed it when it's been shown on BBC2 earlier this year and last year?
It was, like, the perfect sunday evening line-up: Family Guy, American Dad, Arrested Development.

Bah! BBC2 are useless when it comes to scheduling US comedy.
When they showed the final series of seinfeld back in '01, they showed it at gone midnight.
How I Met Your Mother is shown at an obscure time early on a Sunday evening.

AD is so damn funny. I watched the first and second seasons through in a couple of weeks.
Tobias was my favorite also-- him and Buster. And the episode with Wash's cameo as Annhog's dad is great. "Take me to your secular world!"

Brilliant show. Gob and Tobias are hilarious. All the cast are, but I love Gob's genius stupidity. I down loaded "The final countdown" after I watched season 2 (in more or less 1 go).
As for the cancelation, fox have stopped it but other next works (NBC, ABC) have been intrested in picking it up.
I hope so, with cats and writers intact.

But reember they haven't yet and it's up to fox and the creators to allow it to happen.
