Hah!
Once again, I have circumvented the timestream and become older than a lot of you!
On the other hand, this circumventing of the timestream takes the life out of me...
Still, I'm not yet thirty, so Predabot still trusts me. The Fool.
Oh yes, it's also Star Wars Day, but this year I'm not wearing my R2D2 tie.

Happy tidings, wise man!
You really are quite a bit old.. By chance, how old were you when you got into Transformers? I think I was about 5.
Wear the tie, foo'!
Aye! I still trust your glorious mind!Rebis wrote:Still, I'm not yet thirty, so Predabot still trusts me. The Fool.

Would it be too crass to point out that there seems to have been a lot of... "activity" around the world in, ooh, say... the month of August, various years.?
Oh wait, I forgot where I was. Of course it's not crass!...
I am glad to be on time for one bday at least... Happy Birthday, oh protector of the Roof!

It's a British thing - the August Bank Holiday. A hot day off with nothing to do except...saysadie wrote:Would it be too crass to point out that there seems to have been a lot of... "activity" around the world in, ooh, say... the month of August, various years.?

I'm surprised that there are more '78ers than '77ers, tbh, seeing as the Summer of '76 saw a drought in the UK, and all the Summer of '77 had was Elvis dying.Metal Vendetta wrote:It's a British thing - the August Bank Holiday. Cheers guys!
That'd cause all the late May children, though, surely?Metal Vendetta wrote:It's a British thing - the August Bank Holiday. I was born a week late... if I'd been on time, it would have been roughly nine months after my parents' wedding anniversary. I've never asked for confirmation, but it's something I take pretty much as a given...
Grrr. Argh.
How about this alternative, for the end of July:
End of Summer Term -> No School Runs -> Less Traffic -> Getting Home Earlier -> More Time With Need To Fill -> Spring Births!
On an unrelated subject, I think I'm going to spend a little time being evil, when I turn 30. Just as something to stick on the ol' CV as padding.

I'm already thirty, and that hasn't really stopped him, so I don't think it's a factor.Rebis wrote: Still, I'm not yet thirty, so Predabot still trusts me. The Fool.
