So who would you field right now if you were manager of your countries national football team?
If a player is injured, you may not field him, etc.

Sweden
I would play a 4-4-2 diamond formation.

-----Larsson--Ibrahimovic

-------Källström
Ljungberg--Alexandersson
-------Linderoth

Edman-Lucic-Mellberg-Östlund

-------Isaksson

Henrik Larsson (Barcelona) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juventus) will play no matter what.

I want Kim Källström (France, Rennes) to play in the off. midfielder position since Anders Svensson (former Southampton) is right now playing in the swedish Allsvenska. And allsvenskan is 100% crap, with almost 394834% lower tempo then the rest of the world.
The swedish coaches will play Svensson though...

Ljungberg (Arsenal) to the left.
I wan't Alexandersson (former Sheffield Wednesday and Everton) to play right midfield. He has hell a lot of experience, which is much needed since our right defenders are all somewhat crap.
He can be substituted with Wilhelmsson (Anderlecht), who has much much better technique, and is much more offensinve then Alexandersson - but lacks the defensive qualities.

Tobias Linderoth (former Everton) has always played well in his position.

Edman (Rennes), Mellberg (Aston Villa), Lucic (former Leeds and Leverkusen) are all solid.
Östlund (Southampton) hasn't impressed, neither has Mikael Nilsson (former Southampton, currently in some Greek club).

Isaksson (Rennes) = awesome.

Your turn :o
Can't believe I'm still here.

I like the old dutch 3-4-3.

I hope we get Kuyt in the summer and Big Mart uses it at Spurs.

England:

4-4-2

Robinson
Neville Ferdinand Terry Cole (A)
Gerrard Lampard Carrick Cole (J)
Owen Rooney

I'll think of something more imaginative later!

Goalkeeper - Boruc (Celtic Glasgow). If Dudek played more than three matches this season in Liverpool, I might choose him.

Defense - Baszczyński (Wisła Cracow), Jop (a club from Moscow, don't rememeber which one), Bąk (some club in Quatar), Żewłakow (Anderlecht Brussels)

Midfield - Sobolewski (Wisła Cracow), Krzynówek (Bayer Leverkusen), Smolarek (Borussia Dortmund), Szymkowiak (Trabzonspor).

Forward - Żurawski (Celtic Glasgow) and either Piechna (Korona Kielce) or Frankowski (Wolverhampton), provided he deals with his current inability to score before World Cup. But who am I kiding, Southampton's Rasiak will be paired with Żurawski.

Portsmouth bought him in December, then Harry saw him on training, asked who the hell he is and said that he didn't want him, and I think they terminated his contract recently. :o

Basically, he hasn't played a serious game (or any game for that matter) for four months now, and he wasn't even in good shape back then.

There's a chance that he'll comes back to Poland in summer and he'll get a shot in saving his career.
