If we won it i would spaff myself on the spot. Hopefully it will give us momentum in the FA cup.

Problem with boro fans is that a lot of us aren't local, at weekends a lot of people commute a hell of a long way to go to the home games but during the week its less possible - given the size and affluence of the town boro actually get pretty good numbers.

We are, after all, just a small town in Europe.

Besty's point about Boro fans is rights I know at least a dozen in York, who try to go to games as often as possible, but cannot always make it.

Great result, by my reckoning if both Boro and Arsenal get to the finals England will get enough points to go top of the european co-efficients.

The official UEFA website has all the guff about it, its a really complicated formula, but in the last 5 years England has won 1 UEFA cup and one Champions League. (figures are only for the last 5 years I believe) plus lots of semi/quarter final appearances. Were we to win both the UEFA and Champions League this year it could launch us above spain and Italy, which might mean an extra Uefa cup place.

Checking this season's results, with the right preparation, Boro seem to have big game mentality, I fancy them for this.

They'll just let Sevilla score three goals in first twenty minutes, then score one themselves before half-time, and waltz over them in second half, and with Maccarone's clincher in the last minute Boro will win 4-3.
