Sprained my heel among other things today

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Sprained my heel among other things today

Post by Predabot » Wed Mar 22, 2006 5:36 pm

Yes. Because my mom called me crying last night, and came over with all her stuff to my place, because she's divorcing her new psycho-husband that she's been married to for 6 months...

This was at 1:00 AM in the morning. And who do you think starts calling at 6:00 AM??! Yeah, you guessed right! A ******* crossed with a and a sexually deprived nazi!!

And the stuuupid woman answers it..! I tell her repeatedly to hang up, 'cause it's all insane propaganda from a delusional being, eventually I pull the plug, only to notice she's already hung up.

And lo and behold! Who comes a banging on my door at 7AM!! Goddamnit! I stop her for a few minutes to not open the door, until I get tired of it and go to bed again, and of course she goes to open it... and that's when it happens! In anger over her doing that, I stomp my right foot harder into the floor than I've ever done, and I bash it into the floor again, when I literally jump into my clothes!

I do not feel much pain when I do that, possibly because I've just awakened from little sleep, and the adrenaline is pumping so I can nearly hear my heart bashing in my ears.

He wants to come in and talk, I stand in the doorway doing my best immitation of a statue, and tells him that he's never ever setting foot in my house again!

Mom is standing next to me and he makes one of dumbest ugliest f**king impressions of a 'tough guy' I've ever seen, saying that "oh we'll just see about that" while crackling his nuckles. :eyebrow:

Mom says they'll go outside and talk, and they do.

I close the door, noticing now that my heel is now beginning to hurt some.
Eventually she comes back and starts crying after a while, and I make some calls to the family, so she can talk to her sister and such. I have to go to school tho, wich proves to be something of a challenge, with a steadily swollening heel. But I manage to get to the bus and actually manage to have a few classes.

After my computer-class tho, one of my teachers drive me to my health centre, because I'm having quite a bit of trouble walking now.

Turns out I didn't fracture of crack anything atleast, it was just tissue-damage, a small sprain of the ligaments of the heel.

I should be fine if I use the crutches I had to buy for 19$, for a few days.
Tomorrow my class is going on a study-trip to a steel-plant, and damn it, I'm going! Will is everything.

nevertheless, that was my day, how was yours? :eyebrow:

Hope you are ok soon!

Yeah, I called the womens-shelter in our city today, and they thought she should call them. She doesn't quite want to live there tho. I think it's because she wouldn't be able to see me then, since I'm a man and men aren't allowed there.

I've called her sister and her husband continuously trough the evening tho, and she's coming over to talk to her in a little while. :) The plan is that she's going to stay with them for a couple of days, since her being here were he can influence and get at her, while I have a sprained heel just isn't going to work.

On topic: I just took some pain-killers. They were good, altho a bit weak. :)

You can die from a sprained heel. I've seen it happen. You should leave the board and put your affairs in order. Make peace with your god, however you want to play it.

Bye.
Grrr. Argh.

Sorry, Preds. May your mind not suffer the same fate as your foot.

Uh, yeah, that sounds all pretty ****** for your mum, Preds. Sorry to hear that.

However, Dr. Brendocon does know what he's talking about. You should always follow his advice.

Sorry to hear about your mum's problems Preds, hope things start to improve for her.

But as for you and your ankle, you really should listen to Dr Brend. His knowledge is foremost in these matters.

Sorry Dr. Brend, but I got a second opinion yesterday and the female Doc said that it was just some tissue that got slightly stretched, nothing fatal, wich means that all of my current hobby-activities will remain unaffected. ;)

Off-topic: My mom is currently staying with her sister for a few days, and her daughter, my sister, is coming over to give her support for a few days too, all the way from Swiss. :o

Thanks for the kind words lads.
